"for the last almost two years since i got my helix and forward helix pierced, i had the original jewelry in. two “flat” threadless opal labrets. i stupidly picked the biggest size gems on display (looked smaller from a distance) and when i looked in the mirror immediately after getting pierced, i was lowkey disappointed. i didn’t show it but my heart broke because i was at an extremely overpriced shop. i spent like $200 and that was *with* a buy one get one free sale. two piercings. anyway turns out hating my piercings was just simply because my jewelry was massive for my ear and the locations. this little guy was the perfect swap when i finally got the courage to change my own jewelry because even tho it’s “free” to get it changed where i went, i’m sure there’s some kind of secret courtesy fee lmao. i got a hoop for my helix and this little guy for my forward helix :) i love how dainty and small it is, its just what i needed. plus the bonus of my hair not getting snagged in it makes me so happy i could cry."
