Good but Slightly Oversized

"Good quality tapers, but not the best The only issue is that they seem to be slightly over-sized. The 1mm taper is actually 1.2mm in diameter, for example. This is probably within manufacturing tolerance, but the discrepancy increases with the taper size. The 2.5mm taper is actually 3mm in diameter (A whole size up!), and the 10mm is 10.9mm in diameter I don't know whether this is industry standard (these are the only tapers above 2mm I own), but my other tapers are all exactly the advertised diameter."

"These are much better quality than an acrylic set I previously purchased from Amazon. The tapers are VERY securely stored inside of the case and can be a challenge to get out with your hands. I found that lightly wiggling them from side to side while pulling worked well. These an excellent tool for stretching my lobes so far."

"I am very impressed with this kit! It comes in a labelled wallet, which is velcro-sealed. The concave is PERFECT for insertion of jewellery after stretching, making it super easy so you don't have to do the initial stretch, leave the taper for a bit, then pull it out and shove a non-tapered new jewellery size through your already sore lobes as quickly as you can to avoid any extra suffering. UBJ has jewellery from whatever sizes you're starting and finishing at for reasonable prices too, so you don't have to scour the internet and make several different orders just to get the things you need. So very happy, when I reach my gauge goal, I'll definitely be buying my permanent plugs from UBJ."

How exactly does these stay in your ear I don't like the little rubber bands that are usually on these types of products: Tapers are not meant to stay in your ear for a time. These are meant to push through and insert the jewelry you want to wear in the end of the taper- so you push the taper through and follow it with your jewelry.
