"All the blurple jewelry from UBJ is really gorgeous. Unfortunately this barbell was a bit larger than all of my other 8mm barbells. I contacted customer service and they said this is just the size of their 8mm circular barbells, fair enough I guess every manufacturer is a bit different. But then they gave me a $20 gift card for not being 100% satisfied, which I thought was really great! Don't get me wrong either, the jewelry is beautiful and high quality, it's just a smidgen too big to sit nicely in my tragus. I still recommend this product and I'm really happy with UBJ customer service."

"I'm giving these barbells 3 stars because the ball ends are very difficult to screw onto the posts. I needed a second person to help me. I bought a set of two to use as earrings...maybe if I used this kind of jewelry elsewhere I might have had a different experience. Secondly, I ordered 14 gauge but these were very difficult to place in my earlobes even though I have used 14 gauge earrings for years. Did I perhaps order the wrong size? If so that's on me. Otherwise the color and durability of the jewelry is nice, just be prepared to fight with the dang jewelry when putting it on for the first use. Be aware, also, that if you have longer hair it might get caught on this jewelry."

- It depends on your body and the placement of the piercing, but it will be around 3/8" for most people! Some people smaller at 5/16", some bigger!
