"I've had this in my septum for over 2 years. No fading, haven't had to take out for any medical tests since it is titanium (not magnetic). It's only come unclicked one time ever - my dogs tooth caught in it for a moment when they were giving kisses. Didn't tear my nose thank goodness. The gem isn't loose either."
