Difficult threading, cheaper quality
"Got this jewellery to match my other gold piercing jewellery, just wanted a simple horseshoe. Initially impressions are it's pretty cheap feeling and light, which I do get sometimes ordering jewellery online generally so it seems on par with the quality from various other sellers. The main problem I had with this piece is that the threading seems sort of deep inside the end of the spike, or the threaded area is not long enough/doesn't extend enough on the inside of the ball end. It's difficult to catch on the threaded end of the ring and every time you think it's on it just falls right off again. I tried and failed many times over two weeks of having it and would just put in something else, until one time I finally got it on. It lasted about two weeks before it fell off at some point and I lost the spike. Too frustrating to repurchase."
