I love the hinged rings!

"I have several of these hinged rings for my helix and nostril, because I love the seamless look they give, and the ease of being able to change out my jewelry that I didn't have with the old school captive bead ring I had in my cartilage for almost 20 years. Even the styles designed for rook and daith piercings work fabulous in the helix and look great. This is a super pretty piece of jewelry, and I love that I can get multiple diameters. It's made well and gives my ear a little sparkle. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5, is that the end with the hinge is rather sharp when it inevitably pushes into your ear, which I learned last night sleeping on it. So this is getting reserved for special occasions or daytime wear when I want a little bling. I'm bummed about that, because I like to put hoops in my ear and "forget" about them for a few days, so to speak, but it's still a great piece and will be well loved in my collection, just relegated to less frequent wear."
